Solo Leveling episode 10 recap

Episode 10 opened with Jin-Woo and Joohee taking a walk in the park. A recent Dungeon experience seems to have drawn a line as she expresses her desire to quit Hunting and return home to move in with her parents.
She also returned the crystal Jin-Woo gave her at the start of Solo Leveling. There was also a short scene where Jinchul warned Jin-Woo that Hwang Dongsoo had his sights set on him and that the law was powerless against S-Rank.
Next, they decided on the raids started between Jin-Woo and Jinho. The latter needed 20 successful raids to become the master of the guild that Yoojin Construction was forming. Jinho bought most of the available C-Rank gates and recruited Hunters who were injured or weak just to fill the raid quota.
Here, viewers are also introduced to Jinah’s closest friend, Han Song-Yi, who signs up for the raids. She was awakened as an E-Rank Hunter and wanted to get into it full time.
However, Jin-Woo and Jinho began clearing the Gates one by one, the former fighting while Jinho farmed the Mana Crystals.
Due to Jinho’s excessive spending on Gates, the suffering was noticed by members of the White Tiger Guild, specifically 2nd Division Management Department Chief Ahn Sangmin.
He recognized Jin-Woo’s name, and putting two and two together, he sensed an opportunity to try to recruit into the Guild.
In between, there were brief snippets of Choi Jong-In waking up from a nightmare – the scene lit up by what appeared to be a member of the team on its last legs and a giant ant.
Jin-Woo witnessed himself and his skills leveling up, and in the meantime, he received a task notification to change jobs.
And so, while the pair raided the Dungeon, Ahn and his subordinate approached. Manager Ahn suggested and offered Jin-Woo double whatever he got from Yoojin Construction.
But when they talked about the numbers, compared to the 30 billion won that Jin-Woo was supposed to receive, double that meant the entire White Tiger Guild building was worth 50 billion won.
Here we also see Jin-Woo using his stealth skill to intimidate a Guild member, pledging to keep Jin-Woo’s activities under wraps. It was that Jinho had bought up all the Gates, making it difficult for the guilds to train their newer Hunters.
So Jin-Woo proposed a deal – he sold 3 gates to the White Tiger Guild for 300 million each, which he quickly reduced to 200.
Later, Ahn Songmin buys the Gates and finds out that it was the 3 Gates that Yoojin canceled anyway, and that the other C-Rank Gates go below 70 million.
That was the sight of the shrewd merchant in Jin-Woo. The episode ended with Jin-Woo considering looking for a job.

What to expect from Solo Leveling episode 11

Episode 10 covered Chapter 35, 36 and half of 37. The Job Change Quest was reserved for Solo Leveling Episode 11 and will probably make it to Episode 12 as well. Judging by the title, it features Jin-Woo entering a chamber where he battles knights who repeatedly reappear after being defeated.
But most importantly, the anime will introduce Blood-Red Commander Igris. This will be his toughest battle yet, but the rewards will be even better once completed. Igris stands as the Job Change Quest boss.
Solo Leveling episode 11 will likely include chapters 37 to 39 or 40 depending on whether the studio wants to show the entire fight with Igris.

Solo Leveling episode 11 is scheduled to be broadcast at 12 am JST on Sunday, March 24.
